Bio

Coach Jesse Edwards started playing volleyball at Tunkhannock Area High School. While there, he led Tunkhannock to two district titles and four state playoff appearances. He was twice a first-team conference all-star. During his undefeated senior season, Jesse was named MVP of the Wyoming Valley Conference and selected to the Pennsylvania all-state team. He participated in the Keystone State Games and played club volleyball with his school teammates at the adult open level throughout high school. Jesse continued his playing career at East Stroudsburg University, a Division II school eligible for the Division I championship. During his time there, he participated in multiple EIVA conference final four tournaments, helped conduct multiple clinics with the team, and learned under two different coaches in the EIVA hall of fame. After college, Jesse continued playing volleyball at the club level and in the Keystone State games. He continues to coach today in the AYVL recreational league and the Endless Momentum club. Aside from coaching volleyball, he also enjoys running and golf and helps coach recreational and club softball. Coach Jesse has a bachelor’s degree in Earth and Space science and currently resides with his family in South Abington Township. His wife Lisa is also a former college volleyball player and coaches with AYVL and ‘EndMo.’ They have two children that go to Abington Heights, the middle school.
